Facebook virus making the rounds

A lot of dancers and dance companies use Facebook. Periodically, the internet novices among them forward some wall post talking about some guy who is a hacker, and to be careful about adding him to your friends list. Now, whereas those wall posts are easily disregarded, there are a few potential threats you should consider. The latest is a virus that poses as an email from facebookmail.com, and redirects you to a website that taps into your facebook profile cookie and attempts to spread itself to your friends. Best way to avoid? Just be sure to access anything Facebook related through Facebook itself.

[edit] Someone we know appeared to get hit by this virus. We ended up with a wall post that brought us to a really weak phishing attempt. But, the email from facebook was legit.
